British Pie Week 2019 - Day Three

British Pie Week has for the last few years coincided with the greatest show in pie - the British Pie Awards. Previously held in April, it is a very logical step to move the Pie Awards to coincide with British Pie Week and get an even bigger audience's eyes on those pies! Once again the awards are being held in St Mary's Church in Melton Mowbray and we for one can't wait to attend again! After enjoying the Turner's Pies Steak and Ale last night for dinner, which you may recall won the British Pie Awards last year, we look forward to seeing the range of pies on show today and judging the pies that will lead to the crowing of the 2019 Supreme Champion! Will it be the year of the vegan pie? Or will Turner's get the double? Find out more about the awards in our British Pie Awards 2019 preview article!
