British Pie Week - Day Four

British Pie Week is a chance for pie makers big and small to celebrate the humble pie. Whether that's a company making thousands of the pastry beauties each day or someone in their home kitchen making a pie for their tea, we want to celebrate pies of all shapes and sizes! You may have seen on Twitter that Pierateer Sam made a "Pancake Pie" on Tuesday - to celebrate the clash of pie week and pancake day - and another quirky pie with beautiful decoration has been sent in to us from Victoria of Sweet Art Cakes in Darlington.

I'm sure you'll agree with us that this Cookie Crust Apple Pie looks stunning! A very unique take on a classic pie flavour and a beautiful top crust. As for us, Pierateer Rob sunk his teeth into two pies from Jarvis Pickle Pie Company on Thursday evening - their Chicken and Leek and their Pork and Blue Cheese pies. He'll be rating them soon and trying some more tomorrow night!!
